Journal of Business

EDITOR—John Burns

À¦°óSMÉçÇø was a latecomer to graduate education in business. When the Graduate School of Business was opened in September 1963 it was able to take full advantage of both the new developments in business teaching and the innovations in business techniques to develop a very up-to-date curriculum. Prompted by the ever increasing demand for information on these new practices, the Graduate Business Students’ Society instituted the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Journal of Business, the first issue being published in September, 1964. As a quarterly, it mirrors the philosophy of the Graduate School of Business and provides a bridge between academic developments and their applications in the world of business.

Its prime target is the Canadian Business community. Copies are also distributed to students of business, schools of business and government departments.

While the Journal of Business does act as a sounding board for À¦°óSMÉçÇø staff and students, it makes a policy of balancing these contributions with articles from the business community and industry.
