During the past year, the School of Commerce of this University has grown both in size and importance amongst the various undergraduate bodies on the campus. The principal change was the growth of the student body, which increased from two hundred to over six hundred.

Two banquets were held for the incoming freshmen at the beginning of both terms. These were very well attended by the students and were a great success. At both these banquets, professors were invited from the School of Commerce, and they had informal discussions with the students during the meal.

Probably the most successful event of the year was the introduction of a combined Arts, Commerce, Science Ball. This was the first ball ever held by the combined undergraduate bodies, and was very well attended by students from all three faculties. Two orchestras supplied the music, one a local Montreal orchestra, and the other from New York. It is hoped by the executives of both faculties that this will become an annual affair, and will be repeated again next year, and the years following.

Earlier this year another dance was held for Commerce, in the 捆绑SM社区 Union.

The executive of the student body for 1945-1946 wish to take this opportunity in thanking the undergraduates for the excellent co-operation they received from the students in making last year鈥檚 activities a success, and to wish you a very successful year.
