Library users can request items using the .​Ìý

The request in the catalogue places a hold on the item and connects with the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Libraries' retrieval system, adding the item to the queue of requested materials.​Ìý

The item and its corresponding bin are identified in the system at which time one of the six robots automatically retrieves the bin from its position within the grid and delivers it to the ground floor circulation processing area.​Ìý

After a staff member retrieves and scans the item, the item is placed in a box and transported to the requested location. ​Ìý

The system sends an email to the user indicating that the item will be available for pick up.​Ìý

Library users are able to request materials for delivery to the downtown or Macdonald campus five days per week.​Ìý
