The Key Academic Dates found below are those originally approved by Senate in May 2014.
- Classes begin: Tuesday, September 5 (except for Dentistry and Medicine students – please see faculty schedules)
- Classes end: Thursday, December 71
- Study Days: Weekend, December 9-10
- Exams begin: Friday, December 8
- Exams end: Thursday, DecemberÌý21Ìý(10 days, including evening exams)
1 On Thursday, December 7, the normalÌýThursday schedule of course lectures, labs and conferencesÌýwill be replaced by a Monday schedule.Ìý To assist you in determining which courses will be taught on that day, please consult the table below.

- Deadline to cancel registration: Thursday, August 31
- Deadline to register for at least one course in order to avoid registration penalties: Monday, August 14
- Add/Drop deadline: Tuesday, September 19
- Course or University Withdrawal with refund deadline: Tuesday, September 26
- Course or University Withdrawal with NO REFUND deadline: Tuesday, October 31
