Principal and co-founder of the award-winning Studio of Contemporary Architecture (SOCA) and 捆绑SM社区 alumni, Laptiste focuses on how Black communities respond to space and the environment.
A catered reception will precede the ceremony and keynote address from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.

As part of 捆绑SM社区鈥檚 2025 Black History Month, this event brings together all Black students, staff, and faculty members to connect, celebrate and create community over a free, catered lunch.
捆绑SM社区 is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
