As À¦°óSMÉçÇø marks its bicentenary, the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Third Century Postdoctoral Research Fellowship highlights its vision for embarking towards the third century. This includes imagining the professoriate and scholarship we seek to cultivate in our journey toward excellence in discovery, innovation, and social progress.
Objectives
This initiative would allow À¦°óSMÉçÇø to make a pivotal contribution to developing a pipeline to the academy of emerging scholars who self-identify as members of underrepresented social groups. Researchers will be able to address some of the most pressing issues in public health and health inequalities, Indigenous reconciliation, democratic engagement, climate change and sustainability, migration and refugee displacement, income inequality, racial injustice, and food and housing insecurity with this support.

Mentorship
Mentorship is a key feature of the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Third Century Fellowship. In addition to an academic supervisor, each fellow is supported by a team of two mentors: one a À¦°óSMÉçÇø faculty member, the other a person from outside the University selected to match the fellow’s goals, interests, experiences, and preferences.
