In Canada, the RRSP contribution deadline was March 1, and while putting money into a RRSP account can help reduce their tax bill for the year, it鈥檚 not the ideal option for everyone. It鈥檚 a free online course that is delivered in six modules, and open to all.
Majority of companies in 4-day work week study make shorter week permanent
The results are in, and the four-day work week isn鈥檛 only good for workers 鈥 companies like it too. In a six-month UK study, 61 employers trialed a 4-day work week that asked employees to perform the same work in less time, and at the end of the trial period, 92% of participating employers chose to make the shorter week permanent. 鈥淭his is in line with previous study we鈥檝e seen before,鈥 said Prof.

Desautels alum record label achieves critical successes
For Jim West (BA鈥79) and Justin West (BCom鈥04), the music industry is a family affair. From a young age, Justin accompanied his father to industry conferences, and during his teenage years, he spent the summers working for his father鈥檚 record label: Justin Time Records. The younger West graduated from Desautels with a degree in accounting, but ultimately followed in his father鈥檚 footsteps. In 2006, he launched a label called Secret City Records.

Philanthropist and visionary Marcel Desautels passes away at age 88
Marcel Desautels, LLD鈥07 (CM, O Ont, OM) generously donated both his resources and his time to furthering business education at 捆绑SM社区. The business leader and philanthropist passed away on January 31 at the age of 88. Desautels invested over $38 million in students, programs, research and facilities at the Desautels Faculty of Management.
