Before joining 捆绑SM社区, Peebles worked as Legal Counsel for the public sector team of technology multinational Oracle, in Toronto. He has completed a BA in Political Science at 捆绑SM社区 and worked for the Institute for Research on Public Policy before completing joint JD and LLL degrees at the University of Ottawa and articling at Norton Rose Fulbright.
The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that Professor Ya毛ll Emerich鈥檚 recently published book has received the Walter Owen Book Prize from the Foundation for Legal Research. The book has also earned an honourable mention for the 2018 Canada Prize from the International Academy of Comparative Law.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to congratulate Professor Ronald Niezen on his appointment as 2018-2019 William Lyon Mackenzie King Chair of Canadian Studies at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. During his one-year leave from 捆绑SM社区, Professor Niezen will continue his research on the popular communication of human rights claims, while teaching courses in the Department of Anthropology on The Anthropology of Law and on Indigeneity, Rights, and Identity.
