聽It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Dr. Terry-Nan Tannenbaum passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 17, 2016 surrounded by her family.聽 Terry was as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.聽聽
Donations may be made to the "Dr. Terry Nan Tannenbaum Memorial Fund for Education" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation (514-340-8251).

As of today, 25,000 Syrian refugees will have arrived in Canada fleeing their war-torn country. Approximately 7,300 of those will stay in Quebec. Chunip Koo, a clinician nurse at the Montreal Neurological Hospital of the 捆绑SM社区 Health Centre (MNH-MUHC), and Dr. Zinab Gouda, physician in the Transitional Care Team and Secondary Care division of the MUHC Department of Family Medicine,聽 describe their experience.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Leonora Lalla to the position of Associate Dean, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Faculty of Medicine, 捆绑SM社区, effective February 1, 2016. Dr. Lalla succeeds Dr. Ivan Rohan, who has been at the helm of the CPD Office since 2010. Doaa Farid who is completing a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Ellen Rosenberg and Dr. Gillian Bartlett, won the Patients' Choice Award at the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG). She presented her work on a video for immigrants that is part of the Tapestry Project. This is two years in a row one of our trainees took home this award.聽Congratulations!
