Participation involves one audio-recorded interview conducted via Microsoft Teams or by phone.

Changes to MCGILL ALERT! Mobile Device Notifications
捆绑SM社区鈥檚 Emergency Notification System allows you to opt in your mobile device to receive alerts during time-sensitive situations and disruptions in the use of various buildings on campus.
In the past, some mobile phone carriers only allowed voice messages, not SMS text messaging. Today, all carriers support SMS, so we will switch Emergency Notification System messaging to SMS for all mobile phones starting September 18.

Dr. Benoit Gentil, KPE, Advancing Gene Therapy for Rare Disease: Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay
The 捆绑SM社区 Reporter recently published a story about KPE's Dr. Benoit Gentil and his work in developing gene therapy for a rare genetic disorder known as Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay (ACS). This condition, which primarily affects individuals in certain regions of Quebec, leads to progressive loss of coordination and balance due to a genetic mutation.
Dr. Shane Sweet Is One of 捆绑SM社区's 10 Renewed Canada Research Chairs (2023)
Dr. Shane Sweet, Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education was just renewed as a听Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Participation, Well-Being, and Physical Disability. Shane's research听involves studying well-being and participation in daily and social activities among people living with physical disabilities.
TIE lab presents at SCAPPS 2022 in Montreal
Oct 13~15 2022, TIE lab participated in the SCAPPS (Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology) 2022 Conference in Montreal, Quebec. TIE lab students, Olivia, Gabby, and Nour each presented their research and had great discussions with professors and students from different universities and labs. Dr. Shane Sweet is one of the main organizers, as well as Tayah and George (Zhiyang) volunteered at this conference.听
TIE lab presents at ISCOS 2022 conference in Vancouver
Sep 15~18 2022, TIE lab went to the听61st International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting in Vancouver, BC. TIE lab supervisor, Dr. Shane Sweet and lab member, Jacques Comeau led a discussion on peer support for individuals with spinal cord injury at the pre-conference. TIE lab students, Tayah and Nour delivered their poster presentations, as well as George and Olivia gave their oral presentations on their research projects.
