捆绑SM社区 researchers receive SSHRC Insight Development Grants
Thirty 捆绑SM社区 researchers across disciplines have received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council鈥檚 (SSHRC) through their Insight Development Grants competition. In total, $35.3 million in funding for 577 research projects at 66 Canadian institutions was announced.
Aimed at supporting research in its early stages, Insight Development Grants enable the development of new research questions, as well as experimentation with new methods, theoretical approaches, and ideas. Funding is available to both emerging scholars and established scholars for research initiatives of up to two years.
The Insight Development Grants competition is part of SSHRC鈥檚 Insight Research program, which aims to fuel excellence in social sciences and humanities research to deepen our collective understanding of individuals and societies, as well as to inform the search for solutions to societal challenges.
The research being funded at 捆绑SM社区 includes projects that will, among other things, examine inflation politics in the United States, unpack open data initiatives for environmental nonprofit organizations, and explore the integration of emerging technologies into secondary math curricula.
