Combustion: Stories of breakthroughs, hypothesis and things going up in smoke
On Monday, May 15, Falling Walls Engage Hub Canada and present “Combustion: Stories of breakthroughs, hypothesis and things going up in smoke”. The well-known Montreal-based storytelling series, Confabulation, comes to Ottawa for a special evening event featuring seven Canadian science engagement practitioners. Each will take to the stage for eight minutes to share personal stories on the theme of 'combustion'. The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at (495 Somerset St. W., Ottawa) and is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.
The Engage Canada Hub, hosted by SM, is part of an international platform led by the in Berlin, which aims to create new links between leading science engagers, local and regional networks, research institutions, and citizen scientists, with the goal of amplifying their impact across the country. As , Engage Hub Canada plugs Canadian science engagers into a global community where they can learn from peers, build new partnerships, and contribute in meaningful ways to address pressing global issues.
