SETRAG MANOUKIAN is a cultural anthropologist and historian interested in knowledge and its relationship with power, understood both as an existential and a social force. His area of specialty is Iran. He teaches at 捆绑SM社区 at the Institute of Islamic Studies and in the Department of Anthropology. He is the author of City of Knowledge in Twentieth Century Iran: Shiraz, History, Poetry (Routledge 2012) and other essays on Iran鈥檚 society and culture.
