Soprano Anna-Sophie Neher wins the 2017 Wirth Vocal Prize
After a very exciting final round held on Saturday, December 2nd in Pollack Hall, we are excited to announce that soprano Anna-Sophie Neher is this year鈥檚 winner of the Wirth Vocal Prize. Alongside collaborative pianist Esther Gonthier, Anna-Sophie performed works by Mozart, Morlock, Poulenc, Wolf and Rossini to secure the title.

In memoriam of Professor Winston Purdy
It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of acclaimed faculty member Winston Purdy. Winston has been an Associate Professor of the Voice Faculty at the Schulich School of Music since 1973.

The OSM Manulife Competition is upon us once again! Featuring woodwinds, brass and voice, the 2017 edition of the competition will take place from November 21st to the 25th, with cash prizes, scholarships, recordings and concert opportunities all offered to the winners. Since 1940, the OSM Manulife Competition has provided young Canadian artists with a point of departure for their international careers.
