Schulich Faculty, Alumni, and Students among the 2022 JUNO Award Winners

The winners have been announced, and Schulich faculty, students, and alumni are among the talented list of nominees and winners!ÌýThe Schulich community has won accolades in two categories this year: jazz vocal album of the year and classical album of the year.Ìý

Caity Gyorgy (MMus'22) takes home Vocal Jazz Album of the Year for her album Now Pronouncing: Caity Gyorgy, a five track record featuring all original material written and performed by Caity and her 10-piece ensemble includingÌýJacob Wutzke (MMus'22)Ìýon drums. Recording/mixing was done by Brandon Wells (MMus'14).Ìý

Prof. Andrew Wan and Charles Richard-Hamelin (BMus’11) win Classical Album of the Year for Beethoven: Sonates pour violon et piano / Violin Sonatas Nos. 1, 2, 3 & 5, a classical exploration of some of Beethoven’s most famous works. Ìý
