The Analysis, Creation and Teaching of Orchestration (ACTOR) project and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT) announce聽the Speaker Series:聽Afrological Perspectives on Timbre and Orchestration. The first talk of the series will be presented by Dr. Bibian Kalinde (University of Zambia)聽on Friday聽30 September 2022听蹿谤辞尘听12:00pm -1:15pm (EDT)聽and is entitled "Unraveling timbre in the music of the marriage ceremony of the Chewa and Bemba in Zambia."
