Under the baton of Maestra Véronique Lussier, is giving a Benefit Concert for À¦°óSMÉçÇø Programs in Whole Person Care. ÌýFeatured soloist is Maria Budacova on organ performing Joseph Rheinberger’s Second Organ Concerto. The program also includes Georges Bizet’s Overture from the 1stÌýSuite L’Arlesienne and Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New Worldâ€

Book about the history of the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Faculty Club

Neil Stewart’s article in theÌýMURA 2024 NewsletterÌýmentioned that his book,ÌýFrom the Baumgarten House to the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Faculty Club,Ìýwould be available this fall.ÌýThe Faculty Club Centennial celebration that took place on October 9, 2024 in the Faculty Club Ballroom and Lounge included the launch of his book.Ìý

The book is 147 pages, hard cover with a sewn binding, and printed on high quality paper. The graphics design was done by Jean-Bernard Ng Man Sun of À¦°óSMÉçÇø Graphic Design Studio, who did a beautiful job. The book contains many modern and historical photos, architectural drawings, a detailed history with almost two hundred end notes, and an index. It is on display in the Faculty Club foyer, and on sale there for $45 including tax.
