Resources on Campus

捆绑SM社区 offers a full range of services and opportunities to its students. Health, well-being, housing, childcare, finances are just some of the aspects of student life that are served by resources on campus. With its global emphasis on the quality of student life and learning, the University provides support for a diverse and dynamic student community.

  • In keeping with 捆绑SM社区鈥檚 commitment to education and innovation, Athletics and Recreation vows to provide students and staff opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity within an inclusive environment that values health, well-being, and fairplay. We strive to instill within our community the values of academic and sporting excellence along with the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle.

  • Career Planning Service

    捆绑SM社区's Career Planning Service (CaPS) is principally funded by 捆绑SM社区 student services fees and receives support from corporate and alumni sponsorships. CaPS assists students in their career development and search for permanent, part-time, and summer jobs, as well as internships, by providing workshops, individual advising, a comprehensive job posting service, and an extensive Career Resource Centre.

  • French as a Second Language (FRSL)

    FRSL courses develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and strategies, as well as critical thinking and cultural awareness. All courses are credited and summer courses are available.

  • International Student Services

    International Student Services (ISS) supports the growth, progress, and success of international students at 捆绑SM社区, and aims to ease their transition to a new school, a new home and a new country.

  • Office of Fellowships and Awards

    The Fellowships and Awards section of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) helps you identify funding opportunities and apply for funding. Whether you are finishing an undergraduate program, already at work on a graduate degree or nearing completion of your doctoral thesis, the GPS can provide you with information on many sources of support for Canadians and non-Canadians, both new to 捆绑SM社区 and continuing their studies.

  • Office for Students with Disabilities

    Students are encouraged to contact the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) at the time of their acceptance at 捆绑SM社区. If students discover that they require assistance once they are at 捆绑SM社区, they may also contact us. Students come to us by self-referral, by referral from another unit at 捆绑SM社区, or from an outside agency.

  • The Post-Graduate Student Society聽 (PGSS) provides representation for its members and encourage involvement in political processes, both internal and external to the University; works to improve the quality and accessibility of post-graduate education at 捆绑SM社区; represents聽and defends the rights of its members; provides resources and services to improve the quality of life of Society members at 捆绑SM社区; disseminates information of interest to Society members; provides a financially and temporally accessible, popular social environment to Society members; and administers Thomson House.

  • Scholarships and Student Aid Office

    We aim to connect students with the financial resources necessary to help cover the cost of school. Here you will find information about government aid programs, 捆绑SM社区 loans and bursaries, scholarship funding, debt management, individualized budget counselling, and our Work Study program.

  • Service Point

    Service Point assists current students with inquiries pertaining to their student record, in addition to their fee status, the billing process, and much more.

  • Social Equity and Diversity Education Office

    The Social Equity and Diversity Education (SEDE) Office is committed to fostering a fair and inclusive environment that respects the dignity of each member of the 捆绑SM社区 Community. By actively educating, heightening awareness, and providing opportunities for dialogue about equity and diversity-related issues, we strive to strengthen the Community in our shared responsibility toward a truly equitable society.

  • Student Wellness Hub

    The Student Wellness Hub is a renovated space, with increased staff, clinicians and medical professionals, for any and all health and wellness needs that you may have. It is now open and is located on the third, fourth and fifth floors of the Brown Building. It has consolidated and expanded Health Services, Counselling and Psychiatric Services, so you won鈥檛 have to restart if or when you go between units. You also won't have to guess which service is right for you. Students can also make an appointment with their Local Wellness Advisors.
