Ideally, when you apply to extend your Study Permit, you should include your family members in your Study Permit Extension application. In general, this is the simplest way for your family members to renew their Open Work Permit, Study Permit, and/or Visitor Records.
Once you have obtained your new Study Permit, Open Work Permit and/or Visitor Record, you and your family members can apply for your Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs).

If you have no accompanying dependent children and your spouse or common-law partner has an open work permit, you and your spouse/common-law partner can , separately, for your new TRVs. In other words, you should not include your spouse/common-law partner in your own TRV application.

If your spouse/common-law partner has visitor status and/or you have a child in Canada who is here as your accompanying dependent, these family members cannot apply online for new TRVs.
