Oswald Hall Dissertation Fellowship in Sociology

Established in 2005 through a donation from the late Oswald Hall, M.A. 1937 (University of Toronto Professor Emeritus and former Professor of 捆绑SM社区 from 1946 to 1955).

Eligibility Awarded by the Department of Sociology 聽to a student who has completed the other requirements of his/her Doctoral degree and has begun writing his/her Doctoral thesis.

Oswald Hall Prize

Established in 1992 in honour of the late Oswald Hall, M.A. 1937 (University of Toronto Professor Emeritus and former Professor of 捆绑SM社区 from 1946 to 1955). The prize has been endowed by donations, in particular royalties from the book The Sociology of Work: Papers in Honour of Oswald Hall, donated by the book's editor, Professor Audrey Wipper of the University of Waterloo.

Eligibility Awarded by the Department of Sociology to the best graduate student in the first year of studies.
Value $350

Samuel Lapitsky Scholarship

Eligibility To be awarded on the recommendation of the Departments of Sociology or Anthropology (each in alternate years).
Value Varies in order to aid with tuition fees
Deadline February 1
Application Apply to the Department of Sociology in even years, or Anthropology in odd years.
