MYL脠NE DANDAVINO, MDCM, MHPE, MSc, BSc, FRCPS(C), is an Associate听Professor of Pediatrics and member of the Division of General Pediatrics of the Montreal Children鈥檚 Hospital, where she works as a pediatric hospitalist and clinician educator. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Health Sciences Education. During her fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics, she obtained a Master鈥檚 degree in Health Professions Education (MHPE) from Maastricht University, The Netherlands (2010). She also holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (捆绑SM社区, 2002). Thanks to mentors from the Institute of Health Sciences Education, she has been given, since medical school, many opportunities to pursue her medical education interests at the local, national and international level.
She particularly enjoys mentoring and supervising trainees in their discovery of the field of medical education, whether it is through scholarly projects or electives. She has taken the leadership of several local innovations in medical education. She strives to role-model her belief that clinician educators are advocates of the importance of scholarly work and evidence-informed practices in medical education. Her administrative role as Program Head of Medical Inpatient Services at the Montreal Children Hospital has led her to involve medical trainees in quality of care improvement projects, and awakened her curiosity regarding how to enhance leadership skills in medical trainees.

Current research interests: Self-efficacy, in-training resident assessment, preparation for transition to competency-based education, perception of impact of recent hospital relocation of patient care and education, patient safety and quality improvement research.
