What is Micro-ExP?
The Micro-ExP Program offers 捆绑SM社区 students from all faculties and study levels the chance to gain meaningful work experience through micro-internships. The program is specifically designed for students who may not yet have work experience, addressing the common challenge of 鈥渘o experience, no job.鈥�
When Is It?
The next offering is聽May 12 - May 16, 2025.
How Does It Work?
Unlike a traditional 4-month internship or co-op, Micro-ExP offers students the opportunity to deliver results to an organization in just one week. It鈥檚 perfect for students who want to explore a career path, grow their confidence, and hone their professional communication skills.
The two key types of experiences offered are:
- Micro-Projects:聽Completely remote, short-term, unpaid projects allowing students to develop skills and explore industries remotely. Projects connect students with employers for resume-building and industry exposure. Up to 12 hours per student.
- Micro-Placements: Either on-site or hybrid scaled-down work placements providing real-life workplace exposure. Students observe, network, and engage in tasks based on employer needs. Up to 15 hours per student.
