Dr. Gigi Luk Explores Learning Disruption During COVID-19

Dr. Gigi Luk of À¦°óSMÉçÇø Education's Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology has recently been involved in discussionsÌýwith the National Academy of Education (NAEd) in the U.S. regarding educational inequities during COVID-19. The NAEd recently published a reportÌýexploring the effects ofÌýschool disruption with regard to children's academic progress and social-emotional development as well as highlighting the more severe impact this disruption had on students in disadvantaged communities.
