In Fall 2016, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering revised the curricula of each program. These updates affected the offering of some of the courses listed in the sample curricula prior to 2016. Students admitted prior to this term听should consult the links below to determine how to satisfy any course(s)听that have听been phased out of their program.

IEPE & the Enhanced Power Concentration

Blueprint

Students in the Electrical Engineering program are eligible for the Enhanced Power Concentration. This concentration allows students to take and participate in听industry-sponsored courses, projects, internships and new employment opportunities in electrical power engineering. Supported by the听Institute for Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE),听an initiative of Hydro-Qu茅bec,听students will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, and a point of contact between industry and universities involved in power engineering.
