In Memoriam - Wallace Crowston
On February 25, 2024, a major figure in 捆绑SM社区 Desautels鈥� history passed away. Wallace (Wally) Crowston was a former professor and dean who led the Faculty of Management during the late 1980s and 1990s. Crowston鈥檚 research explored the use of computer-based information systems to plan and coordinate project management, and he authored widely cited articles in major journals.

After a slow 2023, exchange-traded fund listings are revitalizing
In 2023, more than 120 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) were delisted in Canada鈥攎ore than four times as many as in an average year. The Management Undergraduate Society (MUS) has awarded the 2023-2024 Professor of the Year Award to Mary Dellar. This annual award recognizes a professor's outstanding commitment to students and engaging and innovative teaching methods. It is the highest honour given by the undergraduate student body at the 捆绑SM社区 Desautels Faculty of Management.
The Hot Cities World Tour explores Egypt and Morocco
Since its inception in 2009, 捆绑SM社区's annual Hot Cities of the World Tour has taken undergraduates, graduates, alumni, and professors to the frontier of our increasingly globalized world. This year, the 13th iteration of the tour visited Egypt and Morocco 鈥� two of the largest and most important economies in Africa, and critical gateways to Europe and the Middle East.
