Desautels Masters Office earns certificate of sustainability
Four 捆绑SM社区 offices, including the Desautels Faculty of Management Masters Office, have committed to advancing sustainability in concrete ways through the Sustainable Workplace Certification program. Five Master of Management in Finance (MMF) students are off to the regional round of CFA Institute鈥檚 Research Challenge, an annual global competition that provides students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Facing stiff competition from HEC Montreal and Concordia University, Zirui (Bruce) Chen, Huiru (Audrey) Wu, Neil Wiacek, Chen (Andy) Yu and Haiwen Luo formed the team that came out on top.

MMF students tackle Deloitte Synergy Challenge
捆绑SM社区 Master of Management in Finance (MMF) students competed in the Deloitte MMF Synergy Challenge on October 30. Three teams went head to head in the finals on November 2, with students Katerina Paraschis, Dakota Zaharichuk, Marc-Olivier L锚 and Haiwen Luo presenting the winning case.

Mathew Kwan, a 2020 graduate of the 捆绑SM社区 Master of Management in Finance (MMF) program, was recently awarded the Peter Christoffersen Award in recognition of his outstanding CGPA and contribution to Desautels Capital Management (DCM)鈥擟anada鈥檚 first university-owned, student-run, licensed and regulated investment firm designed to give 捆绑SM社区 students invaluable experience in the industry.
