Prof. Ody-Brasier's paper named 2022 Carolyn B. Dexter Award Finalist

Congratulations to Amandine Ody-Brasier,Associate Professor in Organizational Behaviour, whose paper"Deviance as a Means to Build a Legitimate Career: Evidence from the EDM Industry” has beennamed 2022 Carolyn B. Dexter Award Finalist at theAnnual Meeting Program Awards of the Academy of Management (AOM).

Professor Amandine Ody-Brasier’s paper with co-author Xu Li, is the 2022 Carolyn B. Dexter Award Finalist, Annual Meeting Program Awards of the Academy of Management (AOM). The paper was submitted to the Organization and Management Theory (OMT) Division of AOM. The 2022 AOM Program Awards were announced at the Annual Meeting which took place August 5th to 9th in Seattle, Washington.

The Carolyn B. Dexter Award for Best International Paper is an all-Academy award given to the paper that best meets the objective of internationalizing the Academy of Management. Papers are considered for this prestigious award if they offer new insights, are rich in observation and employ creative methodologies. Papers receiving this honour typically reflect collaboration between scholars from different countries, topics that are not in the U.S. mainstream, but are important in other countries' research traditions, and whose theme and content reflect an awareness of business and management outside domestic boundaries.

The paper previously received the by the OMT Division of the Academy of Management (AOM).
