Paper by Prof. Suzanne Gagnon chosen as Organization Studies Editor’s Pick
The Desautels Faculty of Management is pleased to congratulate Assistant Professor Suzanne Gagnon for having her paper selected as Organization Studies’ Editor’s Pick for May.
Resistance through Difference: The Co-Constitution of Dissent and Inclusion looks at how contemporary dissent and control are affected by ethnic and social differences, specifically dealing with teams made up of members from various nationalities in a global leadership program. Some of the teams conformed to institutional norms — differences notwithstanding — while one group in particular built on their differences to stand up to those norms.
