"Extraordinary" Canadian Physician Wins National Award for Contributing to Global Health

Congratulations to Dr. Joanne Liu (IMHL participant), FRCPC, winner of the 2013 Royal College Teasdale-Corti Humanitarian award! Dr. Liu is a Montreal-based emergency pediatrics physician who has had an extraordinary career with M茅decins Sans Fronti猫res (MSF). She has worked in such countries as Haiti, Sudan, Congo, has acted as president of MSF Canada and is currently a board member with MSF Geneva.
