Reaffirming our commitment to equality, we are also recognizing the December 6 National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. An invitation to a community conversation will be sent out soon, and we invite you to join us as we collectively work towards a discrimination-free and violence-free world.
Our EDI team has also facilitated listening sessions during which Desautels staff who identify as BIPOC were able to share with me their insights and experiences within our Faculty. Moving forward, the EDI team, in collaboration with Desautels HR, will develop plans to enhance BIPOC staff recruitment and retention and the transparency of HR-related processes.
