Celebrating International Women鈥檚 Day at Desautels

This International Women鈥檚 Day, we want to take the time to highlight some of the outstanding and accomplished women within the Desautels community, who positively impact our students through their teaching, research, guidance, or mentorship.

Antoinette MolinoAntoinette Molino

Manager, MBA Admissions & Scholarships

As a new student applying anywhere, the admissions process can make or break their first impression of a school or a program. With Antoinette Molino leading the charge for our MBA Admissions in her role as Manager, a positive and memorable first impression is always guaranteed.

Known for her constant positivity, generosity, patience, encouragement, empathy and so much more, Antoinette Molino is a fundamental key member of the MBA team. No matter how hectic her schedule may be, she will always dedicate her time to all MBA applicants, students, staff, and faculty.

She always had a way to help ease all the prospective students鈥 anxieties when it came to applying for their 鈥渄ream program and university鈥, while subsequently ensuring that all newly accepted students felt welcome and ready to take on this new academic challenge and chapter of their lives. Her generosity never stopped there as she always kept her door open for all MBA students and was always ready to help them with a warm smile on her face. When talking to current and past students, many of them have expressed that part of their positive and memorable experience in the program includes their correspondence and guidance from Antoinette.

This does not even begin to cover her dedication to helping her fellow colleagues with whatever inquiries and/or concerns they might have. Her unwavering commitment and support are an integral part of the program and the overall student experience, and her incredibly vast knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of the program and structures are paramount to ensuring the MBA Program听and admissions cycle run smoothly year after year.


Maria Della PostaMaria Della Posta

President, Pratt & Whitney Canada; MMA Patron

Maria Della Posta is a graduate of both our BCom (鈥85) and MBA (鈥91) programs, who has long served as a mentor and advisor at the faculty and university levels. Having joined Pratt & Whitney Canada in 1985, she continued to progress in positions of increasing responsibility across Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service.

As president of Pratt & Whitney Canada since 2019, Maria leads more than 10,000 employees worldwide across various functions and a global aftermarket network which supports an extensive portfolio of almost 65,000 engines in service, and more than 13,000 customers worldwide. Across its segments, the Pratt & Whitney Canada team is also leading the way toward evermore sustainable aircraft propulsion, from class-leading current products to sustainable aviation fuels to alternate technology solutions such as hybrid electric.

As our 2021-2022 MMA class patron, Maria has dedicated her time to providing valuable mentorship and advice to students in our Master of Management in Analytics program. A champion of inclusion and leadership development both within Pratt & Whitney Canada and the aviation industry, she serves on many educational boards, industry boards and associations, including the AIAC, Aero Montreal, and 捆绑SM社区 Advisory Boards. She is also the chair of the GAMA Communications Committee and current co-chair of Centraide (United Way) of Greater Montreal.


Nadia Ramos MarleyNadia Ramos Marley

Director -鈥 Global Counterparty Credit, TD Securities; MMF Patron, Desautels Global Expert

A Montreal native, Nadia Ramos Marley (叠础鈥99, MBA鈥03) is our 2021-2022 Master of Management in Finance patron. Upon graduation, she began a career at Scotiabank in Toronto and went on to grow her career within the organization developing experience across three business lines including risk management, international banking and retail lending. As director with ScotiaMocatta, the bank鈥檚 Base & Precious Metals business within the Global Banking & Markets Division, she led a globally diverse team before leaving the company in 2018 to pursue an opportunity at TD Securities to grow their Global Metals business.

She has since expanded her mandate to oversee all Credit Strategy and Policy for TD Securities鈥 Commodities Business, an exciting mandate in a growling global business.

Nadia has always been dedicated to giving back to the 捆绑SM社区 community, and through TD expanded her alumni involvement by helping to create the annual TD x 捆绑SM社区 Networking and Mentoring event, which seeks to connect current students with 捆绑SM社区 alumni at TD across a broad spectrum of business units and roles who can share stories about their TD careers and experiences. As MMF program patron, she offers mentorship and advice and serves as a role model to our students in the program, further enriching their experience.


Marie Jos茅e LamotheMarie Jos茅e Lamothe

Professor of Practice; Academic Director, 捆绑SM社区 Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship

Marie Jos茅e Lamothe has long been a well-loved member of the faculty and champion for women in entrepreneurship. With 25 years of experience in the competitive digital and consumer products world with brands like Google, L鈥橭r茅al, Procter&Gamble, she is best noted for her expertise in Global Product Management and Digital Transformation. As Professor of Practice, Academic Director of the 捆绑SM社区 Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship and member of the Bensadoun School of Retail Management鈥檚 advisory board, Lamothe contributes greatly to ensuring that our students receive top tier instruction and leave Desautels ready to take on a career in any field.

For her outstanding work, Lamothe has been awarded the Desautels Management Achievement Award, which recognizes individuals who serve as role models for students in their education, career, and philanthropic contributions. She has also received an honoree diploma from the University of Montreal for her contribution to the advancement of our society.

In November 2021, Lamothe and the team at the 捆绑SM社区 Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship officially announced its Entrepreneurial Women Lean Startup program, which will provide women innovators an opportunity to develop their idea into a viable business concept while delving into the particular challenges and concerns that women frequently encounter, such as barriers to funding opportunities, and perceived encumbrances on work-life balance. It is their hope that those who complete the program will leave with the confidence and the clarity to take their vision to the next stage and will have developed lasting relationships with a network of women entrepreneurs, mentors and business experts.
