This award recognizes a DoM faculty member鈥檚 excellence in mentoring colleagues or trainees in any career path (education, research, clinical). As a mentor, they have effectively guided one or more mentees in their professional and personal development by being available, trustworthy, compassionate, non-judgmental, and by advocating for the mentee鈥檚 best interests. Participation in the formal DoM mentoring program, or the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science Telemachus program is evidence of the candidate鈥檚 commitment to and proficiency in mentorship but are not required for nomination.
