Dr. Ghassan El-Onsi
Dentist, Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences
Upon receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology & Immunology from À¦°óSMÉçÇø, Dr. El-Onsi pursued his dental studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Soon after, he returned to À¦°óSMÉçÇø and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In 1999, he completed his residency at the Montreal General Hospital, later becoming a clinical instructor.
Dr. Didem Dagdeviren
Assistant Professor, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist
Dr. Dagdeviren received her DDS and Ph.D. from Hacettepe University, Turkey. She completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology combined with Master of Dental Science at the University of Connecticut.ÌýDr. Dagdeviren is an Assistant Professor at À¦°óSMÉçÇø. She is a Canadian and American Board-Certified specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Dr. Jeffrey Myers
Division Director, Comprehensive Oral Health Care
Dr. Jeff Myers is a General Dentist at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences. He is the past president of the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry and was Chair of the ACFD’s Clinical Affairs Committee. He has frequently served as a site surveyor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.
Dr. Nathalie Morin
Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs
Doctor Nathalie Morin is a General Dentist who practiced 20 years with the Canadian Forces Dental Services. She completed a Master Degree in Dental Public Health from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, located in Bethesda, Maryland. Since 2008, she is teaching the À¦°óSMÉçÇø undergraduate students about the diagnosis and treatment of dental caries. As the Associate Dean – Clinical Affairs, she is ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of the undergraduate teaching clinic. She also plays an active role in provincial and national dental organizations.
Dr. Quoc Nguyen
Assistant Professor, Prosthodontist
Dr. Nguyen obtained his DMD degree from Université de Montréal in 2011 and completed a one-year General Practice Residency program at the University of British Columbia. After working as a General Dentist for over 5 years, and as a Clinical Lecturer at the Jim Lund Dental Clinic, he pursued advanced training in Prosthodontics at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Nguyen is also an Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and specializes in complex dental reconstructions. He is a board-certified Specialist in Prosthodontics and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Thomas Nguyen
Assistant Professor, Periodontist
Dr. Thomas Nguyen is an assistant professor at the À¦°óSMÉçÇø Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences and was previously the Interim Director of Predoctoral Periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nguyen received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Montreal. He subsequently completed an AEGD residency from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, an MSc at À¦°óSMÉçÇø, and his training in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota.ÌýDr. Nguyen’s clinical and research interests include the use of innovative concepts and technologies to enhance treatment outcomes and patients’ experience. He is involved in research related to implant dentistry, soft and hard tissue regeneration, and artificial intelligence.
