Gabriela Quintero

Gabriela

Research Project:

Gabriela is an undergraduate chemical engineering student at Universidad del Atlántico in Colombia, currently completing her internship under the supervision of Professor Jan Kopyscinski. Her project is part of the “Catalyst Development for Circular Fuels” initiative and specifically focuses on conducting a techno-economic analysis (TEA) for a Power-to-Gas plant aimed at upgrading renewable natural gas (RNG). Gabriela is actively involved in developing the process flow diagram (PFD), simulation, process design, and economic evaluation of the plant. Her ongoing research involves analyzing a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) system to separate CH₄ and CO₂ from a stream of raw biogas, facilitating a direct methanation process in a catalytic plate reactor using CO₂.Gabriela is an undergraduate chemical engineering student at Universidad del Atlántico in Colombia, currently completing her internship under the supervision of Professor Jan Kopyscinski.
