SPOT earns Sustainability Bronze!

The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy has been awarded the Bronze level rating for the unit, by 捆绑SM社区's Office of Sustainability. The designation is a testament to the importance that the unit places on activities that are respectful of the three dimensions of sustainability: social, economic and environment.

Stefanie Blain-Moraes, PhD has been awarded a Canada Research Chair [Tier 2] in Consciousness and Personhood Technologies (2019 鈥 2024). Dr. Blain-Moraes is an Assistant Professor at the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy. Other CRC laureates from the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy include Keiko Shikako-Thomas, OT, PhD (Canada Research Chair [Tier 2] in Childhood Disability: Participation and Knowledge Translation, 2015-2020) and Mindy Levin, PT, PhD (Canada Research Chair [Tier 1] in Arm Motor Recovery and Rehabilitation (2005-2019).

Raphael Lencucha, PhD, has been invited to serve on an expert panel at the World Health Organization on the implementation of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products (the first public health treaty negotiated under the auspices of the WHO).
