Dr. Cecilia Flores and Dr. Gabriella Gobbi were promoted to Fellow of the (ACNP). Promotion of ACNP members to fellow status is based on both their scientific reputation and their contributions to the College through committee work and involvement in the Annual Meeting program. This advanced status also provides Drs. Flores and Gobbi with new opportunities to contribute to the College and share her expertise with the ACNP.
The Centre for Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy Research, Training, and Intervention of the 捆绑SM社区 Health Centre is offering an opportunity to attend an online 15-week seminar series on CBT for all mental health workers and trainees. The Winter 2024 edition starts January 11, 2024. This program has approval from the Canadian Psychological Association to offer up to 22.5 continuing education (CE) credits for attending. The deadline to register is January 8, 2024.

It is with sadness and fond memories that we share with you the passing of Dr. Dennis Engels, kindhearted man, sought-after supervisor, dedicated psychiatrist and esteemed teacher who, twice, received the Sigmund Freud Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Engels began working at the AMI/RVH in 1960 and diligently served the Department of Psychiatry for over 50 years. Following his retirement in 2013, the Dennis Engels Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy was established in his honour, rightfully calling attention to the admirable career of an admirable man.
