But a study by researchers at 捆绑SM社区 and the Douglas Mental Health University Institute in Montreal suggests it鈥檚 well worth the effort: the researchers found that a good night鈥檚 sleep is linked to better performance in math and languages 鈥� subjects that are powerful predictors of later learning and academic success.

Professor Michael Meaney听is awarded the Wilder-Penfield prize in recognition of his groundbreaking achievements in the biology of child development. Also recently winning the听2014 Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize Laureate, he is one of two professors from 捆绑SM社区听among the 14 winners of this year鈥檚 Prix du Qu茅bec鈥攃onsidered the most prestigious award attributed by the Government of Qu茅bec in cultural and scientific fields.
