SM’s Desautels Faculty of Management has won the Research Excellence Award in the Primarily Doctoral/Medical University category at the 2014 Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) conference held in Muskoka, Ontario. This award reflects the highest contribution of research papers from PhD students and faculty of the Desautels Faculty of Management.

ѳҾ’s Desautels Faculty of Management has jumped 11 spots to claim a rank of 49th in the world in the 2014 UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings. This ranking by UT Dallas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management measures faculty research productivity over the past five years from 2008 to 2013. The 100 ranked schools produced 9,174 articles in the 24 leading journals during the most recent ranking period. That number has risen from 5,879 articles in the first period used in the rankings, from 2000 to 2004.
