Come to Work Your BA events to explore, learn about options and different paths, and gain ideas, information, inspiration, motivation and advice! Organized by 捆绑SM社区's Career Planning Service (CaPS) and the Arts Undergraduate Society (AUS).

CaPS and AUS are organizing a buffet of events to feed your career curiosity from the NGO/Non Profit Fair to career panel discussions to a great roundtable event to help you meet and learn from professionals in a wide variety of fields. In particular this year, many of the events revolve around the theme of social justice, and community and political engagement.

Andrew Heintzman, BA, MA
Author, and of CEO InvestEco Capital

Andrew is the CEO and co-founder of InvestEco Capital. Andrew sits on a number of corporate boards, including Vital Farms, 100km Foods, Farms & Forks and Maple Hill Creamery. Andrew is also a director of the Tides Canada Foundation and CanadaHelps.org. In addition, he sits on the Steering Committee of Sustainable Prosperity and he is an advisor to the MGA program at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. Andrew was the chair of the Premier鈥檚 Climate Change Advisory Panel for the Province of Ontario from 2008 to 2012. Andrew is the author of The New Entrepreneurs: Building a Green Economy for the Future. Andrew has a BA and an MA from 捆绑SM社区.

Bob Walsh has global responsibility for financial crime compliance at AXA.聽 This includes AML, international sanctions and anti-bribery.聽 In addition he is AXA Group鈥檚 Deputy Chief Compliance Officer.聽 Outside of AXA he chairs the Sanctions in Insurance Roundtable, which is an informal association of the world鈥檚 largest insurers, reinsurers and brokers, who collaborate with senior public sector officials on the intersection of international sanctions issues and international commercial insurance.聽 He has also participated as a private sector representative in FATF consultative meetings and the US Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group.聽 Bob studied at 捆绑SM社区, Osgoode Hall Law School and the Ivey School of Business.

Peter Schiefke, MP Vaudreuil鈥擲oulanges

Mr. Schiefke, Member of Parliament for Vaudreuil-Soulanges and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister for Youth, will be at 捆绑SM社区 to discuss how his education and student engagement brought him to where he is today.聽聽 In his youth, Mr. Schiefke`s passion for politics frequently brought him to Ottawa for Question Period, where his desire to serve his country only grew. During his time at university, he was active in founding several student led sustainability programs, ultimately earning him the position of National Director at the Al Gore Foundation.聽聽 Now, as a Member of Parliament, he strives to ensure that Canada`s youth get involved in the process of governance, and hopes to see more young Canadians take an active role in the decision making process in Canada.
