Undergraduate Admissions
Undergraduate applicationsÌýtoÌýthe Faculty of ScienceÌýareÌýhandled centrally (through Enrolment Services) and the academic departments are not involved in this process.Ìý Detailed information on the degrees and programs that you can apply to and the application process can be found on the Undergraduate Admissions ·É±ð²ú²õ¾±³Ù±ð.Ìý
The main point of contact for applicants is the Service Point office, where they will be able to answer your questions about the online application process, minimum grades, documents required, decision timelines, etc.
Application Process
Depending on your academic background, you may not be asked to select a specific program of study (i.e. a Major) when you apply.Ìý Only students entering the BSc degree from CEGEP or from high school programs that will giveÌýat leastÌýa year (minimum of 24 credits)Ìýof advanced standingÌýwill select aÌýprogram when applying.Ìý However, ALL applicants to the BSc degreeÌýare asked to selectÌýone of fourÌýprogram groupsÌýwithin the Faculty of Science.Ìý
A program group comprises of several departments with significant overlap in the core course requirements.Ìý This means that students can usually change programs within their group after U1 without being too far behind in their studies.Ìý The Department of Anatomy &ÌýCell BiologyÌýis included in theÌýBiological, Biomedical, and Life SciencesÌý²µ°ù´Ç³Ü±è.Ìý It is important that you indicate this groupÌýwhen applying if you want to study in our Department. If you're admitted to the BSc degree, you will only be allowed to choose your Major from the departments within yourÌý²µ°ù´Ç³Ü±è.
