Overview

Religious Studies : The intersections between religion and public policy in the North American context. Examination of methodological issues at the junction of religious studies and public policy. Exploration of domestic policy issues related to the religious sphere such as religious freedom, inclusion and accommodation, as well as the evolving impact of diverse religious stakeholders in other policy sectors: education, health care, Indigenous rights, immigration, and the environment. The ways in which key aspects of foreign policy鈥攄efense, diplomacy, and development鈥攔equire sustained engagement with the complexities of the religious terrain in diverse global contexts.
