Cell size, shape and topology of bending and stretching dominated materials, including periodic microtruss lattice, plant cellular tissue and trabecular bone. Theories for modelling the mechanics and the physical properties; design and optimization of multifunctional cellular solids for ultralight aerospace and biomedical applications.
