Overview

Nursing : In this course, students will explore the philosophical underpinnings and the evolution of nursing knowledge as a science and an art. Using seminar time as an opportunity for reflection and discussion, the student will analyze and define the interrelationships between a variety of nursing theories, models, and concepts; and will explore the root of his/her own perspective on nursing practice. This course provides an overview of various world views that influence knowledge creation and development within nursing practice. Emphasis will be placed on the À¦°óSMÉçÇø model of Nursing and its application to guide approach and practice within the nursing process.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2018-2019 academic year.
