Overview

Soil Science : Soil physical properties and processes affecting agriculture and environment; state and fluxes of matter and energy in the soil, movement of water, salts, nutrients for hydrological, environmental and agricultural applications; diffusion of gases; heat transfer, discussion of significant research in soil physics.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2016-2017 academic year.

  • 2 lectures (1.5 hour) per week, one term

  • 1 lab (3 hour) per week, one term

  • Restriction(s): Not open to students who have taken SOIL 331.
