Overview

Performance : The course is designed to assist organists in developing the skills necessary to accompany church services. All aspects of liturgical music will be dealt with including hymns, Psalms (both Gregorian and Anglican chant), Mass settings, anthem accompaniment, and adaptation of orchestral scores to the organ.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Students must register for both MUPG 699D1 and MUPG 699D2
  • No credit will be given for this course unless both MUPG 699D1 and MUPG 699D2 are successfully completed in consecutive terms
