The Senior Equity & Inclusion Officer (SEIO) oversees the integration of equity at the University with the operationalization of À¦°óSMÉçÇø’s Policy on Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prohibited by Law. 

The SEIO will field queries and provides confidential information about resources for addressing incidents of harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination prohibited by law. Where complaints are initiated under the Policy on Harassment, Sexual Harassment or Discrimination are initiated, the SEIO will conduct intake and oversee the referral of this case for investigation to an Assessor appointed under this Policy.

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life offers the support of a team of volunteer chaplains and peer liaisons from different traditions, and coordinates events to promote interfaith cooperation and religious literacy. The Office also provides a lounge and meditation/relaxation space at its University Street location where À¦°óSMÉçÇø students can take quiet time for reflection, personal mindfulness and spiritual practices, occasional workshops, and opportunities for consultation.
