Current research: 

Prof. Anaby鈥檚 research encompasses the areas of participation and well being among children and youth with physical disabilities, with a special focus on leisure participation and the impact of the environment.听 Her studies involve testing intervention plans to enhance community engagement such as the PREP (Pathways and Resources for Engagement and Participation), as well as developing measurement-focused projects such as the Youth, Young-dult Participation and Environment Measure (Y-PEM). She also leads Knowledge Translation initiatives; particularly those aimed at promoting participation-based practices.

Our team is now testing a new occupational therapy intervention to promote participation in leisure activities for youth with physical disabilities. Watch Ann, Philip鈥檚 mother, as she talks about her experience in the study,

Dana holds the FRQ-S Research Scholars Salary Award - Senior (Chercheurs-boursiers).听

She is the PI of a CIHR Grant leading the BEYOND study (Body-function Enhancement for YOuth through participatioN in real-worlD contexts), which tests the multiple听benefits of the PREP intervention among youth and young adults with physical disabilities in Quebec and Ontario.听听
