Small habitats: exploring the nature around us
Have you ever wondered what could be living in a little patch of grass, or a small garden? As part of , join and the Graduate Association of the Redpath Museum (GARM) for an exciting hour exploring the green spaces on 捆绑SM社区 campus! We don鈥檛 tend to think of cities as places where lots of plants and animals live, but even small habitats can be super important for many species. Some are tiny and don鈥檛 need a lot of space, some need spots to rest while passing through, and some don鈥檛 mind the city at all! We鈥檒l use a mix of scientific, indigenous, and your own personal knowledge to see what nature could be hiding right around the corner.
Come meet us at the Redpath Museum steps at 10 am on September 24th (rain date: September 25th), where we will walk over to nearby green space to explore.
