Periodic Maintenance and Repairs of Generators

Type: Service / Status: Ongoing

捆绑SM社区 employs a well-structured emergency power system to ensure the continuity of critical operations during power outages. The system prioritizes the most vital equipment across campus, following a clear hierarchy to safeguard personal safety, protect infrastructure, and support essential research.

Priority Levels for Emergency Power

  1. Personal Safety (P.1): The top priority is equipment essential for personal safety, such as fire alarm systems, intercom systems, fire pumps, smoke evacuation systems, emergency lighting, and exit signage. These systems are vital to prevent harm during emergencies and are the first to be connected to emergency power.

  2. Protection of Physical Installations (P.2): After personal safety, 捆绑SM社区 ensures the protection of its physical infrastructure. This includes maintaining heating systems, securing the power house, and powering security devices like access control systems and cameras. The university also prioritizes equipment necessary for the care of live animals and the preservation of research, such as laboratory refrigerators and freezers.

  3. Support for Research and Education (P.3): If the emergency power system can support more equipment after meeting P.1 and P.2 needs, it then extends to research and educational tools. This includes computer rooms, network systems, and uninterrupted power supplies essential for ongoing research and academic activities.

By following this structured approach, 捆绑SM社区 ensures that its emergency power resources are used effectively, prioritizing safety, infrastructure, and critical research activities.
