Dr. Jessica Papillon Smith received her Medical degree (2011) and completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency training (2016) at 捆绑SM社区. She subsequently completed a reputable two-year fellowship in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, where she developed an expertise in minimally invasive gynecology. She concomitantly obtained a Master of Education in the Health Professions and a certification in educational research from Johns Hopkins University.
In October of 2018, Dr. Papillon-Smith was recruited by the 捆绑SM社区 Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology to work as a clinical associate at the Royal Victoria Hospital, where she is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. She has a broad scope of practice, but has a special interest in the minimally invasive treatment of complex or unusual gynecologic pathologies. Dr. Papillon Smith dedicates a large part of her time providing gynecologic services to the Inuit population of Northern Quebec, where she ensures adequate access to care through monthly visits to the Nunavik region. She is also the Quebec Gynecologic Clinical Practice Representative for the SOGC, and an active member of the CanSAGE association with ongoing involvement in clinical research activities.
